His catalog includes music released under various group and artist names, giving him experience not only as a songwriter but also as a collaborator and independent artist.
J.Edmond’s approach to songwriting is rooted in storytelling, experimentation, honesty, and finding your own voice. He believes there isn’t one correct way to write a song—and that some of the most interesting music comes from learning the fundamentals, breaking the rules, and discovering what works for you.
Through his songwriting lessons, J.Edmond draws from his own experience building an independent music career to help students develop ideas, write songs, refine their work, and discover where they want to take their music next.
Whether you’re writing your first song or your fiftieth, the goal is the same: make something that’s yours.
